We operate differently than your average bike shop. We take the mystery and confusion out of bike maintenance and help you have the best experience possible on two wheels, no matter where you ride. We’re staffed and equipped to work on any type of bike, whether you’re a pro or riding the Swamp Rabbit, but our process is unique. Learn what makes us different below.
We carry a full-line of parts and custom upgrades and provide service on almost anything you need on any bike you’ve got
Our staff mechanics are ready to help. Whether you need a simple tune up, or need a replacement or upgrade, we’re here to help and our goal is to be as transparent as possible.
Most bike work isn’t rocket science. While some repairs and upgrades are better left to the pros, our mechanic staff is here to educate you on how to work on your own bike.
Most people upgrade their bikes without ever trying the parts, which is crazy. Our upgrade program gives you the ability to try before you buy so you can make decisions based on experience, not online reviews.
We provide a number of hands-on, outdoor clinics designed to help you try new activities, meet like minded individuals who are learning those same skills and introduce you to our community of outdoor enthusiasts. These clinics and excursions are provided at discounted rates by various sponsors and are meant to be a jumping off point for lifelong passions.
Our clinics are designed for beginners and seasoned pros. Let our staff know if you’re interested in a clinic and we can happily provide more information on skill levels for each clinic.

Most people make the mistake of rushing out and buying an entry level bike just to find that they want something different. Come ride a high quality bike with us before you to the plunge into buying your first bike.
Our clinics are a great first experience mountain biking – and if you don’t have a bike, we’ve got a fleet of demo bikes we’re happy to make available.
One of our main purposes at Mountain Goat is giving the gift of the outdoors to at-risk students here in our community – teaching them to work on their own bike, helping them earn their first bike, or taking them on their first mountain biking adventure.
